Obverse description Bare laureate head of the emperor Tiberius facing right, rendered in the conventional provincial portrait style of the early Imperial period. The wreath of laurel is rendered with summary detail characteristic of small provincial bronze coinage. The portrait occupies the central field of the flan, with no visible legend on the obverse.

Reverse description Frontal cult statue of Artemis Ephesia standing upright at centre, depicted in the canonical xoanon form with arms extended outward and supported by lateral props or staves. The figure wears the characteristic polos headdress and the multi-tiered necklace and pectoral ornaments associated with the great Ephesian goddess. The Greek inscription in two lines flanks the statue in the field to left and right.
