| Obverse description | Draped bust of Tyche facing right, rendered in the provincial Greek style typical of Ionian civic coinage of the Severan period. The figure wears a turreted crown (kalathos), a customary attribute of the city goddess, with drapery visible at the shoulder. The Greek legend ΜΑΓΝΗϹΙΑ is inscribed in the field, identifying the issuing city. The flan is irregular and the relief, though worn, retains the characteristic stylistic features of Magnesian civic bronzes. |
