| Obverse description | Radiate bust of Emperor Nero facing right, depicted with a draped shoulder, the radiate crown rendered as a series of pointed rays around the head. The imperial effigy occupies the central field, with the surrounding legend partially preserved. The style is consistent with provincial Roman bronze coinage of the Julio-Claudian period, struck at the colony of Buthrotum in Achaea. |
