| Obverse description | A hump-backed zebu bull advances to the right in the central field, head lowered as if grazing or charging, rendered in moderately high relief. The pronounced dorsal hump is clearly articulated, a characteristic iconographic feature associated with civic and sacred imagery in Carian coinage. The flan is irregular in shape, with a rope-pattern border encircling the design. No legend is present on the obverse. The style is consistent with provincial bronze coinage of Asia Minor under the Antonine dynasty. |
