Obverse description Laureate head of the emperor Macrinus facing right, rendered in the provincial style typical of Bithynian civic coinage. The portrait displays the characteristic features attributed to Macrinus, including a short beard, with the laurel wreath clearly indicated atop the head. The surrounding field carries the Greek imperial titulature legend. The flan is irregular and the relief is moderately worn, consistent with a small provincial bronze issue.
