Obverse description Bare-headed youthful bust of Heracles facing right, the lion skin knotted at the throat and draped around the neck and shoulders, rendered in a provincial Hellenistic style characteristic of the Lydian civic coinage of the Hadrianic period. The flan is slightly irregular and the field is plain, without legend. The portrait conveys the heroic, idealized youth of the demigod, with curling hair visible beneath the scalp of the lion pelt.

Reverse description The Heraclean attributes presented as a still-life emblem within the field: a bow in its case (gorytos) set vertically to the left, and the knotted club of Heracles standing upright to the right, the two objects rendered in low relief against a plain ground. The composition is centrally placed and enclosed within a dotted border, with the civic legend distributed around the periphery in Greek characters. The reverse type serves as a civic badge evoking the cult of Heracles at Hypaepa.
