Reverse description A Heracles club depicted vertically at center, a civic symbol strongly associated with the city of Tripolis ad Maeander in Lydia. The club is rendered in relief against a plain field, with the Greek civic legend ΙΕΡΑΤΙΚΟΣ ΤΡΙΠΟΛΕΙΤΩΝ distributed in two columns flanking the device on left and right, filling the available field. The legend references the priestly magistracy (ἱερατικός) under whose authority the coin was issued, a common feature of civic bronze coinage from this region. The overall composition is compact and typical of small provincial Æ denominations of the Tiberian period.
