| Reverse description | A tripod depicted in the centre of the field, a cult symbol closely associated with Apollo, the patron deity of Alexandria Troas. The tripod is rendered with three legs and a bowl or cauldron at the top, consistent with the well-attested reverse type of this colonial mint. The colonial legend is distributed around the periphery of the coin in Latin characters, identifying the issuing authority. The flan is irregular and the strike slightly off-centre, as typical for small-module provincial bronzes of this series. |
