| Obverse description | Laureate and cuirassed bust of Septimius Severus facing right, depicted from the rear in a three-quarter perspective, with the emperor's armour rendered in low relief showing dotted decorative elements on the breastplate. The Greek legend partially encircles the bust within the field. The flan is irregular and the strike somewhat weak, consistent with small provincial bronze coinage of the period. |
