| Obverse description | Nike advancing to the right, depicted in flowing drapery, holding a palm branch in one hand and a wreath in the other. The figure is rendered in the Hellenistic civic tradition common to provincial bronze coinage of Asia Minor. The Greek legend ΣΕΒΑΣΤΟΥ ΑΝΤΙΟΧΕΩΝ curves around the field, attributing the issue to Augustus and the community of the Antiochians. |
