Obverse description Bare head of Gaius Caesar facing right, depicted in youthful portrait style consistent with early imperial provincial coinage. The effigy shows the characteristic features of the young heir to Augustus, with close-cropped hair rendered in fine relief. The Greek legend ΓΑΙΟΣ ΚΑΙΣΑΡ is disposed in the field around the portrait. The flan is slightly irregular, as typical of Phrygian civic bronze issues of this period.

Reverse description Eagle standing facing with head turned to the left and wings spread, a standard emblem of Roman imperial authority frequently employed on provincial bronzes of Asia Minor. The bird is rendered in a frontal stance with outspread wings filling the field, conveying power and divine association. The surrounding Greek civic legend is distributed around the type in multiple lines or segments. The reverse composition is characteristic of the Laodicean civic series struck under the authority of the Conventus of Cibyra during the Augustan period.
