| Obverse description | Bare bearded head of the eponymous hero Sipylos facing right, rendered in a modest provincial style with broad facial features. The portrait occupies the central field of the flan, with the legend partially visible along the lower periphery. The die work is characteristic of Antonine-to-Severan period civic bronze coinage from Lydia. |
