Obverse description Bare-headed bust of Geta as Caesar, draped and cuirassed, facing right and seen from the rear, rendered in the provincial hammered style characteristic of Bithynian civic coinage. The portrait is set within a roughly circular flan with the Greek legend encircling the bust in the field. The coin exhibits the characteristically low relief and irregular flan typical of small provincial bronze issues of the Severan period.
