Obverse description Laureate head of Emperor Domitian facing right, rendered in the provincial style typical of the Cyzicus conventus. The imperial effigy is depicted with characteristic features of Flavian portraiture, surrounded by a Greek legend disposed around the periphery of the flan. The die work is bold though somewhat rough, consistent with provincial mint production of the period.
