Obverse description Bare-headed, bearded bust of Heracles facing right, rendered in the coarse provincial style typical of small Lydian civic bronzes. The hair is depicted in thick, rounded curls arranged over the crown and sides of the head. The lion skin is draped around the neck and over the left shoulder, its pelt visible at the truncation. The portrait occupies most of the flan with no encircling legend.
