Obverse description Diademed and draped bust of Julia Maesa facing right, rendered in the provincial style typical of Pamphylian civic coinage of the Severan period. The effigy is set within a plain circular field, with the Greek legend disposed around the periphery. The portrait displays the characteristic diadem and elaborately arranged hair associated with representations of Julia Maesa on provincial bronzes.
