Obverse description Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Emperor Elagabalus facing right, seen from the rear, with the paludamentum visible over the left shoulder. The effigy is rendered in the provincial style typical of Pamphylian civic coinage of the early third century AD. The Greek legend ΑΥΤ ΑΝΤΩΝΙΝΟϹ encircles the bust, identifying the emperor by his adopted Antonine name. The flan is small and irregular, consistent with the minor bronze denominations of the Pergean mint.
