| Obverse description | Bare or draped bust of Livia (Julia Augusta), mother of the emperor Tiberius, facing right, rendered in the provincial Alexandrian style. The portrait is executed in low relief with simplified facial features characteristic of Egyptian municipal bronze coinage of the early Imperial period. No legend is present on this small-module issue. The coin is heavily patinated and the flan is irregular, consistent with hand-struck provincial production. |
