| Obverse description | Laureate head of Hadrian facing right, rendered in low relief typical of small Alexandrian bronze coinage. The portrait, though worn and partially uncertain in attribution, displays the characteristic mature facial features associated with Hadrianic imperial portraiture. A numeral Ι appears to the right of the effigy in the field. The flan is irregular and small, consistent with the lightweight subsidiary bronze issues of Roman Egypt. |
