| Reverse description | A cornucopia (horn of plenty) depicted upright in the field, overflowing with fruits and foliage, a standard emblem of imperial abundance and prosperity on Alexandrian provincial coinage. The regnal date legend L Ζ (year 7) is inscribed in the field, denoting the seventh year of Vespasian's reign corresponding to 74–75 CE. The type and date formula follow the standard conventions of Alexandrian bronze coinage under the Flavian dynasty. The overall relief is low and the surfaces are heavily patinated with green encrustation consistent with prolonged burial. |
