Obverse description Laureate bust of Hadrian facing right, depicted within a beaded border. The effigy shows the emperor's characteristic curled hair and laurel wreath, rendered in the provincial Alexandrian style typical of the early second century AD. The flan is notably irregular and compact, consistent with the small bronze coinage of Roman Egypt.

Reverse description Eight-rayed star with elongated pointed rays radiating from a central pellet, filling the field within an irregular flan. The design is boldly struck in the centre, with the rays clearly defined despite the worn condition of the coin. The regnal date legend L ΙΔ (year 14 of Hadrian) appears in the field, identifying the issue to the Egyptian year 129–130 AD.
