| Obverse description | Multisymbol field featuring an elephant standing left, rendered in low relief in the characteristic punch-marked tradition of early Indian coinage. Above the elephant appears an inverted taurine symbol, while below is an Indradhvaja (Indra's standard) symbol. Additional subsidiary punch marks occupy the field, consistent with the anonymous civic issues of Kausambi. The design is executed on a roughly square flan with characteristic hammered surfaces. |

| Reverse description | A Bodhi tree with prominently rendered spreading branches enclosed within a railed fence (vedika), depicted in the early Indian punch-marked style. Above the tree rises a three-arched hill symbol (trikuta), a recurring auspicious motif on Kausambi civic coinage. Below the fenced enclosure appears a voided cross symbol within the field. The composition fills the square flan and is executed in shallow hammered relief, with the fence rendered as a series of rectangular panels clearly visible in the lower register. |
