| Reverse description | The ruling king Tribhuvanagupta depicted standing in frontal posture, rendered in the highly stylized and schematic manner typical of late Utpala dynasty copper staters. The royal figure is shown with arms slightly extended, wearing regalia consistent with Kashmiri medieval coinage conventions. A Nagari legend occupying the right field of the coin records the concluding syllables of the king's name. The field is otherwise plain, with no border or exergual line, and the die work reflects the worn and abbreviated engraving style characteristic of tenth-century Kashmiri issues. |
