| Obverse description | A recessed square frame dominates the central field, enclosing a two-line Arabic religious or dynastic legend in Naskh script. The mint name appears in the outer marginal area beyond the square border, partially visible due to the irregular flan. The die-work is characteristic of provincial Qongirat coinage, with bold but somewhat roughly executed lettering typical of hammered copper issues of the Khwarazm region in the late 14th century. |
