| Obverse description | Facing left, the youthful head of Herakles rendered in archaic-to-classical Boeotian style, adorned with a lion's skin headdress whose scalp and mane are visible framing the hero's face. The modeling of the facial features is bold and slightly crude, characteristic of Theban bronze coinage of the fourth century BC. The field is plain, with no legend or inscription present on the obverse. The flan exhibits the irregular, compact fabric typical of hammered Boeotian bronzes of this period. |

| Reverse description | A club depicted horizontally pointing left occupies the central field, serving as the primary civic symbol of Thebes and its association with Herakles. Above the club, a caduceus is placed to the left, referencing commercial or civic authority. Below the club, the abbreviated magistrate's name appears as the legend ΦΕΙΔΟ, identifying the issuing official responsible for this emission. All design elements are contained within an incuse concave circle, a hallmark feature of Theban bronze coinage of the fourth century BC, creating a characteristic sunken border around the reverse type. |
