| Obverse description | Irregular, roughly circular flan of cast copper exhibiting a heavily worn and pitted surface with traces of green patina. The central field bears a raised, lobate or floral device—characteristic of Maratha copper coinage—enclosed within a raised circular border, the whole design rendered in a bold but crude style typical of small-denomination indigenous cast issues.
