Reverse description Irregular, roughly square-shaped flan with scalloped edges, consistent with cast production methods typical of Maratha small copper issues. The central field displays a raised device of Nagari or schematic script characters within a raised oval or circular inner border, surrounded by additional indistinct marginal elements. The design, though heavily worn and partially encrusted, retains traces of what appear to be stylised Devanagari characters or symbolic devices associated with Maratha monetary tradition. No complete legend is legible.
