Reverse description A hump-backed bull standing right, rendered in a bold if simplified style, with two stars positioned above the animal's back — one before and one behind — faithfully reproducing the principal design elements of Julian II's well-known SECURITAS REIPVBLICAE reverse type. The exergue bears the mintmark TSE, an imitative rendering of the Thessalonica mint signature. A partially legible and garbled Latin legend surrounds the design within a beaded border.
