Obverse description Barbarous imitation of a late Roman imperial portrait, depicting a diademed, draped, and cuirassed bust of Constantius II facing right. The effigy is rendered in a crude, provincial style characteristic of Germanic imitative coinage, with simplified facial features and schematic drapery. A debased and garbled Latin legend surrounds the bust, clumsily imitating the standard imperial titulature of Constantius II. The overall execution reflects the work of a non-Roman die-cutter unfamiliar with the prototype, resulting in an irregular and stylized portrait within a beaded border.
