| Obverse description | Draped bust of Hera facing right, her hair elaborately coiffed and crowned with a tall stephane (diadem crown), the queenly headdress serving as the principal divine attribute. The portrait is rendered in the compact, somewhat stylized manner characteristic of late 4th-century BC Ionian bronze coinage. The facial features, though worn, retain traces of a classical profile with a prominent nose and full chin. No inscriptions appear on the obverse field. |
