Obverse description Irregularly shaped hammered copper flan bearing a multi-line Arabic inscription arranged within a rectangular border. The legend, reading in Kufic-influenced Naskh script, proclaims the royal title and name of the sultan across the central field. The flan shows characteristic irregular edges and surface patina consistent with medieval Anatolian copper coinage. The inscription is divided into horizontal registers within a simple linear frame.
