Obverse description A lion couchant to the left occupies the central field, rendered in a compact, archaic style characteristic of Cypriot bronze coinage of the fourth century BC. The animal's body is shown in profile with forelegs extended, resting upon a ground line. The flan is irregular and the surface shows the typical granular texture of hammered bronze. No legend or inscription appears in the field.

Reverse description A horse grazing to the left is depicted in profile, with head lowered toward a ground line, rendered in a compact and somewhat schematic style. The animal stands on all four hooves above a thin exergual line, with no accompanying inscription or legend visible in the field. The treatment of the musculature is summary, consistent with the small module and hammered production of Salaminian bronze issues under Evagoras II.
