Obverse description Bust of Kujula Kadphises facing right, depicted wearing a diadem and draped in royal attire, with a tamgha or sceptre-like symbol visible to the left of the effigy. The portrait is rendered in a Hellenistic artistic tradition, characteristic of early Kushan coinage. A Greek circular legend surrounds the central device within a beaded border.
