| Obverse description | Veiled and turreted head of Tyche facing right, her hair arranged beneath a mural crown or veil draped over the head and shoulders. To the right of the bust, a crescent is visible in the lower field, accompanied by what appears to be a grain ear or palm frond, alluding to the city's prosperity. The portrait is rendered in a provincial Hellenistic style with naturalistic facial features. The flan is irregular and the coin is struck within a beaded border. |
