| Obverse description | Laureate head of Apollo facing right, rendered in the refined Hellenistic style characteristic of late 4th-century Ionian coinage. The hair is elaborately arranged with long wavy locks falling behind the neck, surmounted by a laurel wreath whose individual leaves are crisply articulated. The facial features are idealized, with a straight profile, delicate brow, and softly modeled cheek. No legend appears in the field. The flan is slightly irregular, typical of hammered bronze coinage of this period. |

| Reverse description | A horseman galloping to the right, depicted in dynamic motion with the rider brandishing a spear or lance held horizontally. The horse is shown in full stride with all four legs extended, conveying vigorous movement. The rider wears a chlamys that billows behind him. The ethnic abbreviation ΚΟΛ appears in the upper field, while the magistrate's name ΔΗΙΚΛΟΣ (Deiklos) is inscribed in the lower exergue in Greek characters. The overall composition reflects the vigorous, confident die-cutting tradition of Kolophon in the early Hellenistic period. |
