Obverse description Laureate head of Apollo facing right, rendered in the refined Hellenistic style characteristic of late 4th-century Ionian coinage. The hair is elaborately arranged with long wavy locks falling behind the neck, surmounted by a laurel wreath whose individual leaves are crisply articulated. The facial features are idealized, with a straight profile, delicate brow, and softly modeled cheek. No legend appears in the field. The flan is slightly irregular, typical of hammered bronze coinage of this period.
