| Obverse description | Helmeted head of Athena facing right, depicted in the Corinthian helmet pushed back to reveal the face, rendered in fine Hellenistic style. The goddess's features are finely modelled with a strong profile, the cheek-guard of the helmet raised. Hair locks are visible beneath the helmet rim, and the neck is bare. The portrait fills the flan, occupying the central field with no surrounding legend. |

| Reverse description | Central field displays a Macedonian club in horizontal orientation, flanked above and below by the royal legend in two lines of Greek characters. Beneath the club and legend, a strung bow within its bowcase is depicted horizontally, serving as a royal Argead dynastic symbol. The composition is boldly struck, with the inscription and devices filling the broad flan in a characteristic late 4th-century Macedonian bronze type. |
