| Obverse description | Youthful head of Heracles facing right, depicted beardless and wearing the characteristic lion skin headdress, the scalp and open jaws of the lion visible atop the head. The modelling of the face is rendered in the Hellenistic style with fine relief detail, the whole set within a dotted border on an irregular flan. No legend appears on the obverse. |
