| Obverse description | Laureate head of Apollo facing right, rendered in fine Sicilian Greek style with long flowing hair falling behind the neck and a laurel wreath crowning the brow. The facial features are finely modelled with a straight nose and delicate profile characteristic of late Classical Sicilian coinage. A serpent is depicted in the field before the face, while a letter appears in the field behind the head. The flan is struck within a dotted border, partially visible along the right rim. |
