Obverse description Helmeted head of Athena facing right, depicted in profile with a crested Corinthian helmet pushed back to reveal the face. The modelling of the cheek and jaw is rendered in a bold, archaic-influenced style characteristic of 4th–3rd century BCE Mysian bronzes. The helmet crest rises prominently above the crown, and cheekpieces frame the goddess's profile. The field is plain and unlettered.
