| Obverse description | Draped bust of Tyche facing right, wearing a turreted mural crown and veil, rendered in a competent Hellenistic style. The turreted crown, with its castellated battlements, is clearly articulated and serves as the principal identifying attribute of the city goddess. The bust is set within a beaded border, and the drapery over the shoulder is indicated by flowing folds. The portrait conveys civic dignity characteristic of Cilician municipal coinage of the Hellenistic period. |
