Obverse description A highly detailed relief depiction of St Edward's Crown in the centre of the field, surmounted by an orb and cross, resting on an ermine-trimmed cap of estate. The circular legend reading CORONATION OF H.M. KING GEORGE THE IV runs around the border, separated by dot stops, with a small rosette ornament at the base. A suspension hole is pierced at the top.
