Obverse description Tripartite layout in brown, green, and black on cream paper. The central vignette presents a letterpress view of a historic fortified building or castle surrounded by foliage, rendered in brown. Flanking the central panel are bold Art Nouveau-style radiating leaf motifs in green, bordered by a denticulated black frame; the denomination numeral '99' appears in large purple figures at lower left and lower right, with the issuer name 'KIRCHBERG AN DER DONAU' in bold serif lettering across the lower centre, and the inscription 'ERSTE AUFLAGE' (first issue) at the bottom corners.
