Reverse description The central field is occupied by the large heraldic shield of the City of Greiz set against a densely scrolled crimson and gold arabesque underprint; the shield displays a twin-towered church in its lower half and a rampant lion on a gold chief in the upper inset cartouche. Denomination numerals '90' appear in guilloche roundels at all four corners, mirroring the obverse layout, and a decorative dot-and-rule border frames the entire design. A three-line Gothic text panel below the shield states the note's validity condition, and the printer's imprint 'Otto Hennig A.-G., Greiz.' is typeset in small roman letters along the bottom margin.
