Obverse description Right-facing crowned effigy of King Edward VII, rendered in high relief with fine portrait detail. The bust is bare-shouldered and draped, with the Imperial State Crown worn upon the head. The engraver's signature 'DeS' (De Saulles) appears in relief at the truncation of the bust. The encircling legend reads EDWARDVS VII DEI GRATIA REX IMPERATOR, separated from the central design by a beaded inner border.

Reverse description A crowned shield of arms occupies the central field, flanked by the divided date 19 and 07. The crown surmounting the shield rests upon a scroll bearing the inscription CYPRUS. The denomination NINE PIASTRES is arranged in a curved legend along the lower periphery of the design, with a beaded inner border framing the entire composition.
