| Reverse description | A highly detailed, large-format frontal portrait of the crowned Czech heraldic lion fills the central field in exceptional high relief, its mane rendered with great naturalistic detail. Atop the lion's head rests a royal crown adorned with orbs and trefoil finials, flanked on either side by stylised vine leaf motifs that frame the upper portion of the design. A raised inner border separates the central motif from the surrounding legend. The circular inscription 'ČESKÁ REPUBLIKA' runs along the lower periphery, while the fineness and weight specification '1000g Au 999.9' appears in the lower central field beneath the lion's portrait. A small decorative mint mark is visible at the left of the legend. |
