Reverse description The central field features a boldly rendered depiction of an ancient Chinese bronze elephant vessel, modelled after a Shang Dynasty (16th–11th century BC) archaeological artifact. The elephant stands in profile facing left, its body entirely covered with intricate taotie and curvilinear scroll motifs characteristic of Shang bronze casting. A curved Chinese inscription along the upper arc reads 公元前16-前11世纪, denoting the artifact's historical dating to the 16th–11th centuries BC. The denomination 800元 is inscribed in large characters along the lower arc. The design is enclosed within a beaded border.
