| Obverse description | Central field displays the numeral '80' flanked by quatrefoil floral ornaments and small six-pointed stars, all enclosed within an open laurel wreath tied at the base. A floral spray surmounts the wreath at the apex. The peripheral legend reads PETRUS II D.G. CONST. IMP. ET PERP. BRAS. DEF., with the date 1833 and mint mark R appearing in the lower exergue below the wreath. The coin is struck on a reeded-edge flan with a fine milled border. |
