| Obverse description | The tughra of Sultan Abdülmecid I occupies the central field, rendered in the elaborate calligraphic style characteristic of Ottoman imperial monograms, with sweeping horizontal extensions and interlaced vertical strokes. A beaded border frames the entire design. Below the tughra, the denomination '80' is inscribed in Arabic numerals, with the Arabic letter 'nun' (ن) beneath, indicating the mint abbreviation. The date '1277' in Arabic numerals appears at the very bottom of the field, corresponding to the Hijri year. |
