Austrian municipal notgeld from the post-WWI currency emergency, when the collapse of the Habsburg monetary system left towns scrambling to issue their own small-denomination scrip. Tulln printed locally at Goldmann's Druck — an unusually direct arrangement, with the printer, designer, and issuing authority all operating within the same small Danubian market town.
The 80 Heller denomination is an odd one, suggesting Tulln was filling a very specific gap in local circulation rather than issuing a neat series.
