| Reverse description | Blue-grey letterpress on cream paper with a fine horizontal wavy-line underprint across the field. The central text block, enclosed within an elaborate floral and foliate border, sets out the full legal terms of issue in German, authorised by municipal council resolution of 27 June 1920, redeemable until 31 December 1920. Below the text appears the authority line 'Gemeinde-Vorstehung Pfarrwerfen' with the manuscript signature of the Bürgermeister, and a counterfeiting warning at the foot; the printer's imprint 'Entwurf: F. Pfarrwerfen is a small municipality in the Pongau district of Salzburg province, and this 80 Heller note is one of the Notgeld issues that Austrian communities printed in enormous numbers between 1919 and 1921 to address the catastrophic coin shortage that followed the collapse of the Habsburg monetary system. R. Kiesel was a Salzburg commercial printer regularly engaged by regional municipalities for these emergency issues — a local contractor, not a security press.
The "b" variant in the Jaksch reference typically indicates a color or paper distinction from the primary type. F. X. Stadler's design work appears across several Salzburg-area Notgeld pieces of this period.
