Obritzberg is a small Lower Austrian village, and this 80 Heller note is a Kriegsnotgeld issue — emergency municipal scrip produced during or immediately after the First World War when coin shortages made small-denomination exchange nearly impossible across the Habsburg lands. The odd 80 Heller face value reflects purely local calculation of what the community actually needed in circulation, not any standardized monetary unit.

The printer attribution "80 Mer, St. Pölten" is unusual and likely a catalog compression of an abbreviated firm name. Bürgermeister Neuhauser's signature was the only authority backing it.
